Born in Sidney and raised in the Nanaimo area I set out as a young adult to seek more of the world. I trained as a nurse in London of the swinging sixties. After living in Europe for some years I eventually made my way back home to Victoria.

Retiring from 40 years of nursing I finally had the time and energy to pursue more creative efforts including hosting a folk music show on CFUV, serving on the board of Intrepid Theatre and painting. I also discovered another creative outlet in the making of kelp baskets and papier mache bowls.

I find inspiration both in portraiture and the natural world. Since I was brought up on a Vancouver Island farm, domestic animals hold lots of appeal for me

My works are held by collectors in both Europe and North America.
